Owners and husband & wife, Jim and Brenda McCaffrey traveled overseas to Rome and Naples, Italy to research this style of food; Jim even wrote a cookbook about their journey to share their love of food and cooking with everyone.
The restaurant's entrees include Italian favorites like Cappellini, Spahgetti & Meatballs, Manocotti and their famous wood-fired pizza (who's thin sourdough crusts cook in just 90 seconds!) Dolce Vita restaurant is especially unique because of the location. Nestled in the wooded Twin Springs Park its just a short drive scenic drive from downtown Decorah.
Indoor and outdoor patio dining is available. Dolce Vita is an excellent option for group tours, especially lunch stops. Regular hours are 4-9p Wed and Thurs, 4-10p Fridays, 11-10p Saturdays, and 11-9p Sundays.
Meetings & Conference Space
The restaurant's main dining area holds 90 people at maximum capacity. They also have a patio that can hold 40. If the weather is nice out, they also have room for 120 outside seating. It can be rented out for large private parties on Monday-Friday until 4 p.m. and after 4 p.m. on Mondays and Tuesdays. McCaffrey's has free wifi available and is handicap accessible. They also do not charge a fee for rental if you order food for your group. Call to make a reservation or plan your private party.
